The next installment of this mini-series faced a problem, due in part to the foliage created from the pages in Architectural Digest that unintentionally upstaged the two center figures. But then, like life itself, aesthetic elements or events may progress in their own mysterious ways. I thought I knew where this triptych was going, but its intention proved too elliptical for now. Once again, the time bandits halted this triptych’s development.
So now I have another work in progress that I expect to finish one fine summer, —after I achieve clarity regarding its direction.
